An integral part of the goals and activities of ZMF is academic courses. The courses took place at the Academic College in Jaffa, Tel Aviv. We wish for similar courses to open at other universities throughout the country. In the course ‘Multiculturalism at Ear Level’, students are exposed to the world of professional music while combining tools for different ways of thinking and looking at the world of music, through experiential and enriching experiences. The meeting between different cultures and strata of the population creates a unique and intriguing connection between the student audience to the musicians and lecturers in the academic field through the language of music.

‘Music in the academy’ is an experiential and enriching course that gives its students an extraordinary experience in the academic landscape. The course is based on listening sessions, lectures, and conversations with key figures from the world of Western and Eastern music. It is an annual course that takes place once every two weeks.
